Everest Trek is really adventurous and wonderful trek. It is known as a Khumbu Trek too. The Everest Trek begins from Jiri (about eight hours drive away from Kathmandu) at the height of 2370 meter. Mostly the visitors come to this area in September and October. This area is famous for viewing the mountains. Mt. Everest (8848m) also can clearly view in the duration of this trekking many times from different places.Many other famous mountains also can see during this trek. Like; Amadublam, Thamserku, Lotse, Nupse, Makalu, Pumori. Visitors go up untill 5550 metre in this trek. Kalapattar is the highest point of the Everest Trek. Kalapattar (5550m) is famous place for the viewing of the Mt. Everest and beautiful scenery of other many more mountains.
In the duration of this trek trekkers can get a problem of high altitude. Mostly the trekkers have to stay above the hight of 4700 metre. So that, the trekkers have to have some medicine to prevent from the high altitude.
